Immunology Lab

In SKS Medical College in SKS International University, we have Immunology Lab in a Microbiology Department. It provides students with hands-on experience in immunological techniques and assays, helping them understand the complexities of immune responses and their clinical implications.Basic Infrastructure include work stations, storage, designated sterile area for handling and processing samples to avoid contamination.Safety Equipment includes Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as Lab coats, gloves, and safety goggles, Biological Safety Cabinets for handling pathogenic bacteria safely, Emergency Equipment like First aid kits, fire extinguishers, and eye wash stations. Major equipments are available in lab such as Microscopes, Incubators, Flow cytometer, ELISA reader for performing enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISAs) to detect antibodies and antigens., Spectrophotometer for measuring the concentration of biomolecules in samples, Centrifuges, Refrigerators and Freezers for storing samples and reagent, Bunsen Burners for sterilization & aseptic techniques. Our senior professors provided practical skills and knowledge to our student, which isneeded to understand and work with the immune system effectively.
