RHTC (Rural Health Training Centre):

SKS Medical College in SKS International University has RHTC in various rural area of Mathura, our objectives are to provide practical training in primary healthcare delivery in rural settings, enable our students to engage with rural communities, understanding their health issues, socio-economic conditions, and cultural practices & involve them in preventive, promotive, and curative health services. We have provided General medical consultations, minor procedures, and follow-up care, Maternal and Child HealthServices such asAntenatal care, immunizations, growth monitoring, and family planning services, Health Education Programs focused on nutrition, hygiene, sanitation, and preventive health measures.
We have also done Community-Based Activities such asRegular home visits to understand living conditions, identify health issues, and provide health education, Conducting surveys to gather data on health status, disease prevalence, and health-seeking behaviour, Health check-ups, health education sessions, and hygiene promotion in local schools, Vaccination drives, vector control programs, and awareness campaigns on communicable diseases, we alsoInitiate to improve water and sanitation facilities, waste management, and promoting clean energy and Assessed nutritional status and providing supplements and education on balanced diets.
