UHTC (Urban Health Training Centre):

SKS Medical College in SKS International University has UHTC, our objectives are to Provide students with an understanding of the healthcare challenges in urban settings, involved students in delivering comprehensive healthcare services to urban populations, including underserved areas, Implement and evaluate public health programs aimed at urban health issues. We have done number of activities such as Offering medical consultations, chronic disease management, and minor procedures, Focus on non-communicable diseases (NCDs) like diabetes, hypertension, and mental health services, Educate people on lifestyle diseases, reproductive health, and substance abuse prevention.
We have also done Community-Based Activities such as Health camps, sanitation drives, and nutritional support in urban slums, Home Visits where we Assessed health needs, providing follow-up care, and health education at the household level, HealthPrograms activities where we done regular health check-ups, dental camps, and health education in urban schools. Apart from this we take Public Health Initiatives such as Disease Surveillance like Monitoring and controlling outbreaks of communicable diseases in urban areas, Health Campaigns where we campaigns awareness program on air pollution, waterborne diseases, and urban lifestyle-related health issues and take Initiatives to improve urban sanitation, waste management, and control of vector-borne diseases.
