NCISM

NCISM stands for the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine. It is an autonomous body established by the Government of India under the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine Act, 2020. The primary objective of NCISM is to provide a robust regulatory framework to ensure the quality of education, clinical practice, and research in the Indian System of Medicine, which includes Ayurveda, Siddha, Sowa-Rigpa, and Unani systems. The commission aims to enhance the standards of healthcare by regulating and promoting these traditional systems of medicine in India.
